About Us

The Rooney Valley Association was officially formed in October of 2008 to promote the Rooney Valley to the Denver Metro region, Colorado and the world, as a premier, world-class travel, retail, recreation, historic, commercial and residential destination.  The Rooney Valley encompasses 3 jurisdictions; the City of Lakewood, the Town Morrison, and Jefferson County and includes the surrounding 2,000 acres of land, generally defined by Morrison Road to the south, Hogback to the west, I-70 to the north and the Green Mountain subdivision to the east.

The Rooney Valley Association is a public-private partnership, which is managed by the West Chamber Serving Jefferson County.  It has been formed to consolidate and maximize the promotional resources of those organizations that share in actively supporting the mission of the Rooney Valley Association.
